The biggest day of the Summer is heading towards us like a tidal wave! You guessed it….The 3rd Annual Barefoot Vineyard Bar Crawl. Last year proved to be one of the best days of the summer and 45+ Barefooters all packed on to the Island Queen and Slipped into a Barefoot State of Mind! This event will sell out fast this year and you don’t want to be left on the Main Land!… We will be launching on the Island Queen at 12pm and steaming towards Oak Bluffs. We will be barefooting around to Fishbones, Coop da Ville, Sand Bar, and Nancy’s. Once we have drained the Island of all it’s finest concoctions we will be continuing the party back at the Falmouth Raw Bar for Live Music and Food. Don’t miss out on the #1 Day of the Summer. Barefoot Bars has put together a great weekend for you. Andrew Lowenstein will set the happy hour mood Saturday from 6-8pm.

Barefoot Sunday 6/3 5-7pm
Jon Frattasio has been a professional musician for 20 years. As they say in the music biz, “he is a troubadour for sure”, performing between 250 and, some years, 300 nights a year. Jon has piled up more than 6000 professional gigs worth of experience. Jon has an impressive set list of over 1500 songs and some of his owned penned tunes. Frattasio has done some travelling over the years with regular performances in Key West, California, Las Vegas and, of course, all New England.

So kick back , relax and slip into a barefoot state of mind

Second Annual Pond Hockey Weekend

Weekend of February: 4th-6th, 2012

This was such a popular event last year that we’re bringing it back. Old time hockey at it’s best on our own 40′ X 90′ skating rink. Teams of 3-4 players being accepted now and tournament on Saturday, February 5th is limited to 12 teams. Packages include two nights lodging in either a two-room suite or cottage, entrance fees for two players (additional entrance fees are $60 per player), a BBQ and beverages during the day and awards ceremony. Come hang with Team Barefoot at Chilifest. The “Chilifest”. Quite possibly the best weekend of the year. Anyone who makes this sacred day into a weekend (or week) event, belongs in this group.
Originally held at Season’s and Atlantic Connection is now celebrated at the Portuguese American Club.

TRANSPORTATION

For those arriving from off-Island via The Steamship Authority, if you take the 8:15, 9:30 or 10:45 boat out of Woods Hole, free Island Transport buses will take you to the event. Buses will return you to the Steamship Authority, later in the day. Please note that last year, the 9:30 was filled to capacity. Consider an earlier or later boat.

For those arriving from off-Island via Cape Air, free Island Transport buses will be available to take you to the event, and back to the airport later in the day.
