It once was said that if you can clear your mind of stress, remove yourself from drama, and open your heart to new adventures, you can truly live in a barefoot state of mind. Some may ask…”what is a barefoot state of mind?”. This question cannot be answered with words or a simple definition. It can only be learned through experiences and opening up your mind to everything foreign. Living in a barefoot state of mind is not something that is acquired over a short amount of time, it is a gift that comes with patience, trust, and a true willingness to let yourself live for the moment. I wake up every morning in a place where the sun rises over the bluest ocean, and the white sands of a tropical beach stick to the bottom of my feet as I take that first sip of life concocted of the freshes fruits and finest rum. I look out over the ocean where it seems to meet the sun and I am transcended….I am truly in a barefoot state of mind. Once you have this feeling my friends…you have realized what it is to live in a barefoot state of mind!
